James is the Head of Community and Partnerships at Giving What We Can; helping to support and grow our network of givers. His background is in international development in East Africa.

Arvin assists Effective Ventures Operations and its constituents to achieve their goals. At Giving What We Can he is responsible for answering donor and member queries.

Toby Ord
Co-Founder of GWWC
Toby co-founded Giving What We Can and the wider effective altruism movement. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Future of Humanity Institute at Oxford University. His current research is on the long-term future of humanity, and the risks which threaten to drastically limit our potential.
William MacAskill
Co-Founder of GWWC
Philosopher Will MacAskill is a co-founder of the effective altruism movement, Giving What We Can, 80,000 Hours, and the Centre for Effective Altruism, and the author of Doing Good Better, Moral Uncertainty, and What We Owe the Future. He is an Associate Professor in Philosophy and Research Fellow at the Global Priorities Institute, University of Oxford.
